Where we deliver
Lovers Express is a delivery-only service within Blacksburg, Virginia. We do not have a storefront — every order is placed online and brought straight to your door. If your address is outside Blacksburg, submit a custom order request and we'll arrange scheduled delivery.
Ordering hours
We accept same-day orders between Mon–Fri 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM · Sat 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Outside those hours you're welcome to look through today's menu, and ordering re-opens at 10:00 AM.
Do you have a storefront?
No. Baking is for Lovers is a local bakery specializing in delivery and custom orders. All orders are placed through our website. Lovers Express delivers the same day within Blacksburg, while custom orders are scheduled in advance.
Delivery time
Most deliveries arrive in about 45 minutes. On busy afternoons — game days especially — it can take a little longer, and we'll always keep your order status updated on the tracking page.
Returns & refunds
- Everything is baked fresh the same morning, so once an order is delivered it can't be returned.
- Got the wrong item? Reach out right away and we'll make it right.
- Something missing from your box? We'll replace it or find a solution you're happy with.
- If your order arrives damaged because of a mistake on our end, we'll remake it or refund it at our discretion.
- We can't offer refunds for personal taste preferences — but we always want to hear your feedback.
- Custom cakes and custom orders follow their own policies and aren't covered by Lovers Express policies.
